Can you believe it's been 6 months??

I really should of posted this yesterday... But this weekend was a bit rough... Maggie is teething and she was miserable. I felt really bad... She's doing better today but I wish the tooth would just break through already!! So anywho... Can you believe our little girls are 6 months old? It doesn't seem possible! Brian and I were talking last night about how amazing it is to watch your children grow and learn. How they are learning to roll over, eat solid foods, smile, laugh, talk... It's just amazing! I remember last year at this time I was just praying to God that everything was going to be ok... That I couldn't bare the thought of anything happening again. And now I look at my miracles asleep in the swings... I really try and keep this blog a cheery place... But I feel I need to just say a few things... I belong to a message board on the Nest. A girl on there was pregnant with b/g twins after doing her first IVF cycle. Well she posted earlier this week about losing them at 23wks3d. She was just as far along as I was when I lost Brian... My heart just aches for her. I know all too well about what she is going through right now. I keep thinking about how happy I was when I was pregnant with them... How much it hurt when I lost them... How scared I was to try again... But there was some good from it too... Brian and I became closer than I ever thought we could, I made 2 very good friends, Beth and Carrie, who also had losses and have both gone on to have babies... I can't even begin to tell you how much joy and happiness Charlotte and Maggie bring to my life!! Even in those hard days after they were born, I would look at them, in disbelief, and know that they were a little piece of me and a little piece of Brian... So today when you are saying a little prayer, could you pray for my friend and her babies??

Ok enough of the sad stuff... Sorry to bring everyone down... So let me try and think of what the girls are doing now... If we lay them down the first thing they do is roll over... It's like an automatic thing... They eat fruits at lunch time. I think applesauce it their favorite... They eat veggies at night. Sweet potato is their favorites... They don't like peas!! Maggie LOVES tubby time! Charlotte not so crazy about it... They LOVE the Wiggles!! I go to bed at night singing their songs... And they have been sleeping in their big girl beds (their cribs) for about a month now!! They are growing up so fast... It's kind of scary.... We are planning our Disney trip this week!! I can't wait to take them! As I sit here and think about the last 6 months I know this one thing... I am truly blessed!!

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone! I realize I am a day late but I was so tired last night after we got home from Auntie Pam's... I had a major sugar crash. Aunt Cin's chocolate cake was sooo YUMMY!! The girls first Easter was so fun!! The Easter bunny brought them Johnny Jump Ups!! I have never laughed so hard (huh Pam?). Charlotte was sooo funny! Maggie didn't know what to think so she just chewed on hers... I think they are still a little small but they will grow into them. We headed to Auntie Pams house for dinner and everything was so good!! Thank you Auntie Tammy for the bunnies! The girls were playing (aka eating) them last night. And thank you Auntie Holly and Uncle Robbie for the bunnies and books! The books are really cute! We read them last night! It was a really good day... The girls had fun visiting their cousins!! And mommy had a good time eating:) The food was amazing!! Next Easter will be even more fun with 4 babies under the age of 2!! Good luck today Holly and Robbie:) God has truly blessed us this year... And while there are people we miss, I know they were there smiling and laughing with us all!

Someone's having a BABY!!

If you thinks it's me, think again.. Plus if I was, Brian and I would be rich!!:) It's auntie Holly!! She called me this weekend with the exciting news!! She will have her hands full for sure with a new baby and baby Bert!! But if anyone can handle it it's Holly!! And the best news, she's going to stay home!! WOO HOO!! I am super excited about that! We can have play dates, go shopping, but mostly our kids can be close... Fingers crossed for happy and healthy nine months and delivery... And that it's a girl!! ;)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

The girls wanted to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Little angels...

I know I already posted a picture of Charlotte sleeping in her carseat with the bundleme but now I have pix with Maggie in hers too... I think they look like little angels... I love the bundleme and would recommend it to everyone!! I wish they made them in adult sizes... I also wish they made adult swings. They always look so comfy in their swings...

New toys!

We finally got the girls some excersaucers!! They were getting bored with the activity mat... And so far they love them! They make tons of noise, which I am sure will drive mommy and papa mad. Oh well!! Charlotte loves to stand up so this is going to be perfect for her. And Maggie was turning all around in hers!! It's hard to believe our little babes will be 6 months soon... Sometimes it feels like we just brought them home....

They are rolling over!!

Last night while I was playing with the girls, Charlotte rolled over 3 times in a row!! I couldn't believe it! She goes from back to stomach but hasn't quite figured out stomach to back! Then this morning Brian was talking to them on our bed and Maggie rolled both ways!! Of coarse I didn't see it... And of coarse I didn't have my camera with me last night to take pix!! So I will just include some misc. pictures of them!!

Grandpa kisses Charlotte good-bye!

Happy Birthday uncle Robbie!

After a night of driving rain and trying to keep our basement dry, we packed up and headed to Scarborough for Uncle Robbie's birthday! All the usual suspects were there. It's been a long winter so it was good to see everyone! I can't get over how big cousin Bert has gotten! He is so sweet and I love him to death! Charlotte was very curious about him... She just starred at him! Maggie was more interested in gossiping with the ladies... It was great to see Grandpa too! The food was awesome as usual and Holly's cupcakes were so yummy!! This summer will be fun! With all those kids in Tammy's pool!!

Random pix

Here are just some random pix of the girls... Of coarse when they are older they will just love the fact that I put some half naked ones on here... Oh well... That's what mothers do right?

We are ready for the summer!

I decided to see if the girls bathing suits fit them... To my surprise they did!! The bottoms were a little big but not too bad... So they are ready to swim!! I am going to look into swimming lessons at the Y. I pray that they are water babies... Maggie loves the tub. Charlotte not to crazy about it... But I am hoping that since Brian and I love to swim they will! Now if only the warm weather would get here...

Snow, snow, and more snow...

It has been a terrible winter here in Auburn... I feel like it snows every other day!! Yesterday we got about a foot!! It was a good day for us to stay home and just veg out!! I keep dreaming about our Disney vacation in September... Feeling the warm Florida breeze on my face, eating some yummy egg rolls in China, drinking some Rosa Regale in Italy, taking a swim in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub... It can't get here soon enough!!
